My father was an automobile mechanic and got me interested in cars at an early age. By the time I was forteen I could tear down and reassemble a Ford y block engine. Then he got me started on flatheads.
In high school almost everyone had '55-'57 Chevy's but I ran them with my '57 Ford. Since I was a kid I always wanted to build either a Ford powered model A hi-boy roadster or a'32 roadster. Now that I'm getting close to retirement age I'm looking to build or buy a Ford roadster. I've built a few harley's when I was younger and I've got a glass bodied early Bronco.
I'm lucky to have worked for two guy's that are into cars and bikes so at times I help them out with their early Fords.
I'm now retired but still love turning wrenches on old school iron and driving my Model A coupe as much as I can.Interact
