I was born and raised in the northwest corner of Washington State. My Dad was and still is an avid Model T Ford collector restorer and driver. I lived and breathed model Ts . Everything from riding in dads 13 T touring or 24 TT truck to helping Dad work on a stretched 17 T 3 seated touring car he was building. Then riding in that along with my 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Now you know why dad had to stretch the touring. When I was 14 years old dad had me search thru the barn where all his spare T parts were stored, together we pulled out 95 percent of the parts needed to put a 1919 T roadster together. So I went to work On a pile of rusty Model T parts. With Dad Showing Me what and how, but doing the majority of the work myself.Fast forward 2 years . April 1974 I am now 16 and driving my Completely restored 1919 T roadster which I still own and drive today 36 years later.
In my late 20s I was exposed to Model T speedsters and Endurance Runs I along with my Dad and brother were instantly hooked. Building hopped up speedsters with period speed equipment became the main focus and the stock T,s took a back seat. Which eventually expanded to include traditional 30,s 40,s and 50,s Hot Rods The rest as they say is history
