I have never built a hot rod before. I really just want to build the CE into a reliable driver with decent fuel economy and modereate towing capacity. I want to be able to run 75 on the freeway and stop and turn with comfort.

The car has been 99.6% finished now for a couple years. I accomplished all my goals but upgraded the body to be a good looking #2, not concourse.

I finished it with a mercedes 3 liter turbodiesel and five speed od stick trans. It has 12" vented rotors and a fat man front end with anti sway bars. The rear end is a ford 9" with a disc brake conversion.

The bed has spray on bedliner. The body is all stock except for the tail lights. The interior is stock except for the instruments. Vintage air will run you out. Upholstery is leather where you sit all the rest is vinyl matching. It looks and drives like a 90 something pickup and will do about 90 if let out.
