My best friend growing up was a total gear head. I always thought it was beyond my scope, I appreciated his knowledge and skill but never seemed to grasp anything. I always got stuck holding the flashlight as he work on his Nova SS. As time went by we grew apart (pre-Internet/Social Networking days) and I had to rely on myself to fix the pieces of crap cars I had. Eventually I happened a upon a 76 Chevelle Malibu with a Chevy 350 2bbl 4 door grocery getter and I don't know I wanted a sleeper so I begged/borrowed parts ending up with an Edlebrock Torquer II intake and a Rochester 4BBL carb and I was in love.
