The Pop Shop

First "different" car bought was a Citroen Light 15. Looked nice but it went like a slug! Thats when I realised I needed a little more oomph in my ride! I bought the Pop 922 FVW in 1977, and rebuilt it more times than necessary over a period of 25 years owning it. I was in the Eastern Cruisers & Chelmsford Drag & Street Rod Club, but as more and more Pops were surfacing in the area, I started the Essex Popular Front, "The Original Popular Front"!! We had about 30 members at the peak of the club. Started the Coupe in 1982 but never finished it due to family commitments. All had to go in 2000 when the dreaded divorce struck!! I drive an Escort Van now..................
