For years I used Speedway, but about 5 years ago I started using Summit for some stuff,- very happy with both.
I'm also using the middle seat out of a Dodge mini van, and I like it. $25 plus tax at the local you pull our parts.
First time,- can't wait. The roadster is ready go.

I used a 327 small journal rod with the bearing, worked great. Like others have said, I think you can work with what you have.
