I started out on muscle cars in high school and spent a lot of time restoring my '70 Firebird. After doing the yuppie car show thing for a while I got too sick of everyone building the same cookie cutter hot rods and muscle car clones. I eventualy found my way into the more purist crowds, much more into the cars themselves, the time spent in the garage, and the hunting down parts. Instead of writing out a check and showing off the "custom" you "built".
