Working at gas stations and garages on highway 301 in S.C. during the fifties and sixties before I-95 took all the traffic away from the little burg I grew up in - lot of nice cars stopped by on the way to and from Florida. Also had a hot rod buddy that influenced me who was later shot down in "Nam" and was never found. Riding in my 34 3 window always makes me think of him smokin' his L&M cigarette and working out some dents on his '36 back in the day-----he was our Milner.
