    The car illness started when I was very young,inherited from my dad. I always loved customs;Barris Mercs,etc. Got my 1st '49 Merc in '78,chopped it in '81,drove it every day for 7 years, sold it in '85 to buy my 1st house.My wife and I were at the 1st Paso Show in '82 with the Merc. We've been to almost every one since.Our kids also have inherited the "car illness."
