    The route 66 TV series got me interested in Corvettes. Bought a new 1962 340 HP Corvette and drag raced at all central valley tracks in 1960's and '70's. Got a 1966 350 HP Chevy 11 after seeing Grumpy at the 66 winternationals. Best et back then for me was 12.19(not near as fast as Jenkins though!)
