First intro to cars through my dad, when he brought home a copy of the April '65 HRM for me & my brother. He then bought us a couple Roth Revell kits (all pretty unusual as we were living in the UK then). Dad worked for Ford SVO, and had brought us to the UK from Detroit in '66.
my first custom was a '63 Ford Consul Capri lowrider, then a '67 Morris Minor, a Cal Look '67 VW Bug, lowered 356 Porsche, bobbed '42 Harley WLA, then my '28 Pick up with a V6. Moved to Vancouver in 2005 and built a mild custom '68 Newport. Bought a '49 F1 that had been street rodded, then rat rodded, and is now a little more happy in a more traditional style. Sold that to buy my current - and future - '41 Ford. Now just working on small details to make it perfect.
