If you can borrow a newer crank I would look to see what is different. It may not be that bad to modify.

If butterfly's open to fare then idle screws on side of metering block will not adjust right if at all.
I think you can adjust secondary with a small screw and open them alittle
Hi I had problems with idle. To get the butterfly's closed so it was on the idle circuit I had to drill hole in secondary butterfly's.
This is what works the best to put rods and pistons together and removel with out breakage. [ATTACH][ATTACH]
What are you building? A V8 or straight inline 4 or 6 ? It makes a difference V needs balancing. Straight will counterbalance itself.
