When i was 14 walking home from school one day I spoted a primer gray 31 Ford coupe, chopped, chaneled, Buick engine and I was hooked. Bought my first 55 Chev when I was 15, did the bodywork, paint and installed a 324 Olds engine in it from my dads 54 olds. I later installed a hot 327/4speed w 5:57 gears. Not much for gas mileage but it was a fun ride. In my 20's I built a 55 chev gasser and in my 30's raced a NHRA C/EA in division 3. Always Qualified... didn't win much.

In 85 I moved to Florida from the Chicago area and went to work for Arthur Andersen as a Software Development Manager until the Enron scandle ended my job in 2001. I bought 5 acres in N. FLA and built a 30 X 40 garage for the 34 Chev Cdan project.

My nefews are both members of the BlackTop Barons and the Hot Rod Hucksters band. The last couple of years they have got me involved in the Hunnert Car Pile Up and I love these traditional hot rods.

I do my own welding, fabrication, bodywork, paint and drivetrain work... pretty much everything but upholstery. Hope i can add something to the HAMB!!
