got a 72 bug as first car. all my friends had muscle cars, and at the time i thought they were boring, that look is so limited, after a while i started seeing primered rods & stuff & got into it. also being a signmaker i saw killer lettering & pinstriping on cars at shows and in magazines that further fueled the fire. i finished my 56 bug when i was 20 after a 4yr resto. when the car runs it's 12 sec. capable. i sold a 94 ranger to buy a 61 buick wagon that was low, had whitewalls & orange rims- my first old american car!
