A car crazy kid got his 1st (40 Ford) at 15. Built a 50 Merc motor for it at 16 and just kept on going. Drag raced in the 60's and 70's (63 427 Ford, 64 Tri-Power GTO, 70 442 W30). Worked on dirt modifieds in the 70's and 80's. Got back in the swing 2 years ago by buying JasonP's 48 Fordor.
