I think it all started with short track stock car racing back in the early/mid '60's when I was around 5 years old. The sound of the engines... Then onto minibikes and go-carts and trying to make them go faster. My first car was a '69 Mercury Montego. Built up a few '69 and '70 Novas, and a couple Chevy Vegas including a Cosworth. Now I have a '67 Pontiac Wagon. Looking forward to doing some kind of '27 to '34 one day soon.
