Violent Veg

I first bought Street Rodder in 1975 at the age of 19. I'd seen American Graffiti a couple of years earlier and was, at the time, into 50's lifestyle - cars, music, etc., which made me a bit of an oddity in the 70s. I thought the idea of old cars with newer, more powerful engines was cool and I was hooked. Since then, I've had a Pop (Anglia), a Model A coupe with Rover (Buick 215), a '34 coupe, a 37 Chevy coupe and now own a 36 Ford pickup with Chevy 283 and 3-speed. My interest has culminated in publishing Hot Rod Showcase, a photo-heavy magazine/book inspired by The Rodder's Journal and Coby's Church books.
