I started when I was about 10 years old, and doing my own modifications to cars by the time I was 16. Then into drag racing and on the track by 18. I owned and built a 32 2dr sedan that went to the NSRA nationals in 77, married/divorsed, and then a 40 merc, chopped that and i sold it during another divorse. Now it's time to get the or another 40 merc and complete the journey I started so many years ago. But the passion never left. I have since retired from the Air Force and being a jet fighter mechanic after 28 years 6 months, and 2 days in 2005. So I would have to say I am a pretty good with all kinds of tools and have the place to complete my ride. I have been customizing and painting for decades and now the 53 is the next project.
