Got a 30 Model A tudor when I was 13. Put in a 265, a 3 speed and a 55 Chevy rear end. Got the 57 Corvette when I was 16, had to cut lawns to raise the $1350.00 purchase price. Hot rodded both until college, sold the A and kept the Vette. Spent the next 10 years rebuilding wrecked and stripped Corvettes until the whole numbers matching thing came to be. Spent a couple years a Bloomington watching guys argue over bolt head direction and whether there should be over spray here but not over there. Had enough! Bought a 30 Model A coupe and got back into hot rods. At 62, I've passed over 70 cars through my garage and am presently working with the group listed above.
