Grew up around cars, trucks, and motorcycles with my dad. Always working in the garage with him since I was about 4 years old. He built up a 1948 Ford F-1 pickup in 1959-60. He installed a 1949 Mercury dash into it, very nice. Puta 1950? Nash grille on it, different. He and several of his buddies did this to their F-1's back in the day in Santa Clara, CA. I had the truck for some time, and then gave it to my daughter, who is still driving it to swap meets, shows etc. I'm always in the garage when I'm not at work. Looking to pick up a 1937 Desoto Business Coupe as another project.Interact
