I first started drag racing @ the strip in Helens, Al. at the tender age of 17 and have built and "driven" many rods since then. I am currently putting together a written and pictorial history of the old strip in Helena that is currently occupied by my Church. I still have the originak cards that we used to hand out when we assisted someone. I wouls like to hear from any of our former members. I will post pics & articles as they become available.
