FEDT-Bucket (Front Engine Dragster with a T-Bucket body stuck on the back)
NTTB (North Texas T-Buckets) and THE QUARTER-FAST CLUB (Half half fast.)
I'm building a street driven, late 50's style, front engine dragster with a model T body stuck on the back. I'm calling it a FEDT-Bucket.

This is my first ground-up build, so I'm no pro.

T-buckets are cheap, simple, light, fast, handle well, powerful, cool and historical (traditional).

I also like 50's and early 60's front engine dragsters. They're simple, primitive, fast, cool and short enough to fit where ever a regular car can. Many are built quite similarly a T-bucket. The the main thing that kept me from doing it is that there's only room for one - the driver.

So, why not put a model T body on the back of a FED?

I found some old pictures of competition roadsters with T bodies on FED's on the HAMB and at WDIFL. They didn't look too weird to my eye. In fact, I thought they were pretty darn cool.

I love the HAMB because it shows me what I can aspire to. There's some pretty good information here!
