I started working on cars with my dad at the age of 14. I have bought & sold over 120 old Mopars and tried my best to get them into the hands of restorers. I've parted out a bunch of those too, but the parts went to other people's projects, so...
I'm also really blessed to be married for over 33 years to a lady who actually LIKES old cars & trucks. She goes to shows with me, rides in parades with me, used to go to the junkyards with me, and lets me pretty much do whatever I want out in the garage and driveway. She usually lets me rescue forlorn old cars, trucks and parts with rarely a hard time.
I also have done some research into the "racing Vukoviches" (Winner of the 1953 and 1954 Indy 500, and leading the 1955 race by a couple of LAPS when he was killed in a crash) and learned that my ancestors and his came from the same small town in Serbia! Since damn near EVERYBODY in my family are "car guys" with "cars in the blood", I'll assume that we're related to the "racing Vukoviches"!
