I've got a helmet on my Christmas list, and my plans for a gunmetal paintjob were foiled. So I need some inspiration.

I'm thinking solid color metalflake... nothing fancy. But I can't decide. What have you got?

The blank canvas... I am The Stig ("Top Gear" reference)

  3. Uh I don't know how to work the wife's digital. DOH.

But I got a roller derby helmet from the Bombers (San Francisco team late '50s early '60s).

So picture an aged black helmet with a gold wedge going toward the front and a number on the back .

No its not legal even in a no helmet law state for motorcycles and yes a helmet is on my christmas list also, just incase you get two. but that's my helmet.:D

I was originally going to paint it with the www.plateall.com stuff, but Simpson said it was based in fibergl*** resin it would chance the stiffness of the shell so I shouldn't it. I suppose I should probably listen to them.

Here's a headlight bucket Jdee painted with their aluminum version... looks awesome.

Ya know, I chuckled when I read the ***le of this thread because we used to call a fellows naughty bits a "helmet." So I thought for sure I'd read some comments like "I think that's kinda personal," or "I thought I stumbled onto a gay website" or something. But I didn't think I'd see a helmet like the one you posted "97" :D

Modifieddriver needs one like that, he's always wanting to show people what Moonville is famous for.

  15. That's a good one. I love it  .

The clarity might be a little much for a few guys in the racing club! They'd probably run me off (again).

My grandfather, circa mid 50s, broke the world speed record for rotary wing aircraft in a UH-1 'huey'
