Gotta guy who is building me an adapter plate and a rebuilt Holley 94 for a pretty good deal. Just wanted to get some feed back if available. Thanks in advance.

I can't see any performance advantage, with the stock intake you are not improving flow or cylinder distribution, the adapter will just act like a funnel causing the center two cylinders to run rich in relation to the end cylinders..I would save my money and keep searching for a 2X1 intake or a 3X1 that way you would improve flow.If I were to adapt a different carb I would consider the two stage Weber/Holley that was used on the 70's 2000 Ford Pinto,I know some 6 cyl builds that went that route and picked up MPG and acceleration both.

I saw a 3/1 intake for a 223 the other day on EBAY.
