Just another feedback from the show. It was great getting up early to convoy with all that I was with. You all know who you all are. We got there and the line was about 2 mile' long. We ended up parking at the local Alta Dena drive thru mart across from the event. It worked out perfect for all of us. I got to meet alot of new kool people and some that I would have never known that would have showed up. It was kool to see "Har****" throw down some lines on Happy Hoppy' Chebby and kick it with him and his Bro Joe (doowopkid) at their booth. It was good to see Von Franco' eyes light up when I told him that Billy F.Gibbons just showed up when he tried to get him to the show. I guess he decided to come a the last minute. Billy G was so friggin kool to talk to. Told me to be at the next book signing that they are going to have since I missed out on the last one. Said that we will talk cars while there. Talked to James Hetfield who was there again and once again car-less. Said he flew in for the show. The Old's that he has is his everyday driver. The way it should be in my books. If ya got it, drive it!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say with the show and a couple of kool-*** celebs showin up that were soo down to earth, the show was the best that I have been to yet. I am looking forward to the 'Paso show. That is the grand daddy of all!!!!!!!!! I will be posting pics to this thread later on in the week. I hope all that went had a great *** time. I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KNUX!
Look, don't get me wrong, I still love me some Mooneyes show, just vented about that one car. I had a good time as well, wish I coulda stayed longer, and super bummed I missed out on Jay's after party! Was on baby detail, what can I say.... there's always next year.
