I've been looking at some of the posts here for a while as a guest and thought I'd join in. I have a small automotive fabrication shop in gilroy cal, that I opened in '98. Prior to that I worked 13 years for a manufacturer of street rod parts. (Just some background for you, I am not here to advertise ) Sometimes I have questions that I'd like to get answered, or at least some suggestions. I'm not shy about asking them. Many of the members of this forum appear to be able to think outside of the box. Unique problems require unique solutions. That is why this looks like a good place to me. Also, I've seen a few posts here that I know that I could have contributed something of value to. Now that I am a member I will. Right now I have no car of my own worthy of mentioning here. (My rigid shovelhead "parts bin special" does it for me for the time being) But I do get to work on alot of really cool stuff for other folks. That is my outlet. I like traditional cars from the '60s on back to the teens . That is mainly what I choose to work on at my shop. I have always liked "rat rods" too. The innovation that goes into some of those cars comes from the same resourcefulness that made hot rodding America's favorite hobby, (lifestyle for some). I look forward to sharing with you. I'll do my best to keep it between the ditches and shiny side up. Later, Mike.

    Mike,
Welcome to HAMB!! I can tell folks that Mike is the real deal. He is a nice guy who knows is stuff. He is always there to answer my stupid questions and he has done work for me out of his shop. Never any issues. The man does great work.

It looks like we have two new guys from Gilroy, CA to the board Mike from Power Rods and Alex from Gambino's.

Again, welcome Mike and thanks again for always helping me out and teaching me as you go along.

    Brad
