1952-59 Ford I need new backing plates!!!!

I am looking for backing plates for my 54 ford....They measure 12.25"



Any idea where I can find one? I only need one but will buy a set if necessary.

 

I have front backing plates for a '52. If they will interchange with your '54, you can have 'em for the shipping. Let me know.

 

If those don't work I've got everything from the front of a '56 when I changed over to discs...

 

I need rear plates, i should have specified. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. One of the last peices to my puzzle.... Thanks!

 

54-56 Interchange and use the same shoes and hardware.SW's are different from sedans.

 

this is a thought , dont even know it would work . i do know that the nine inch ford and the 8.8 ford will interchange . might try a plate of one of those and see .

 

Interesting thought? 1961-67 Ford F-100 trucks use the same shoes as 52-59 Fords (not S.W's) if you could use those you could also end up with self adjusting brakes by using the F-100 hardware.

 

if the 8.8 plate will work you can put disk on it .the small brg. nine inch and 8.8.
