What do all of you come up with for large at home painting projects? Here is what a buddy and I came up with! Works great for doing body work in too, keeps the dust off of everything! Its A 10 x 20 portable tent simply w****d in 4 mill plastic! Squirrel cage fan at the front, buddies best idea ever! The frame is the spendy part but we had that already. Plastic gets dirty or paint covered, simply peel off and buy new roll and reskin! Costs about $40 plus a roll of duct tape to skin it!

Run a hose off teh squirrell cage into a 55 gallon bucket half filled with water. Makes a cheap and easy filter. Better then blowing it onto everything or out into the enviroment.

I figure that I guy could start from scratch with PVC pipe and make it even bigger! Still wouldnt cost much! Its kinda tight with a 55 chev body in it!

Next time try putting the intake filters in the roof and put a flexible heating duct hose on the exhaust fan and run it into the centre of the booth, under the car, and you'll have a downdraft, which works much better than a crossdraft (dust etc).
