Heh, that's pretty funny, I wrote that script back in 96 or so. (view the source, it's got my e-mail address in there)

There's a sportsman version floating around too.

    edit: link to sportsman tree

Ya, it's a .5 delay instead of .4. I always meant to go add a "roll-out" time delay to make it more like at the track. (Where on a pro tree, you nail it when you see the lights, etc.) This one, you have to wait a moment, so it's not really the same.

Cool! you got any more good scripts I can put on the site? Also if you have another place you would like the forerunners link to point to I'll change it b/c it's dead but credit must be given where credit is due! :)

There must be something fishy about the second try. .416 Beginners luck I guess.

  24. Can you change the comments to more HAMB appropriate language? Maybe question the users masculinity/femininity and family heritage?

Not really, I have some basic hot rod math calculators (not as fancy as the compression one you have) that's about it. I quit doing freelance web stuff (forerunners.com) about 6-7 yrs ago (when I went to work for "the man".) I've been meaning to go make a really cool updated verion of the trees, but honestly had forgotten about it :D I'll go play with it some more and if I come up w/ something cool, I'll send it to you. I've got a good hot-rod math book too, and was going to try to webetize more of those too, but there's a bunch of good ones out there already though, so it would be reinventing the wheel.

I really appreciate your keeping the credits intact! Most folks took that off and put their name on it, then fought with me about it when I called em on it. Being written in Javascript, it was easy to ripoff. I kinda lost interest after that, that and the fact I saw some really cool ones in java and flash that could do things mine couldn't due to javascript constraints. You can take the forerunners link off if you want. If you just leave scotth in the credits (even just the source is fine) I'll be happy!

Thanks again!! It's really cool and gratifying to see something I threw out there years ago still being used!
