Weather permitting it will start to be crushed out on Monday. The ground is a little soft right now so it may or may not happen on monday. Once it starts it is only going to take a few days. The guys crushing it don't mess around. I watched them do a yard of about 180 cars a few years ago and they were done in 3 days.

I guess it is kind of late now since it is sunday and they are starting on monday. But, where is it located and what era is the yard. 40's 50's . any other yards in ohio? I know there is one in Milan "Bobs " and alot of iron is still there. Picked up some trim for the 55 and just paid so much per pound for the stainless molding. Also found some engine parts for a wildcat that my Dad had in San Diego

Most of the cars are late 40's though the 70's. They started on the later model stuff, most of the older stuff is still there. There are lots of Olds/Pontiac rears, 12 bolt Chevy 9" Ford, not much sheet metal. There is a 36 Ford truck cab, rough, a bunch of F1, and F100 from the 50's,a couple 37 Chevy trucks, one with a decent cab. Several banjo rears, front axles, some flathead stuff. He has an F5 with a fresh rebuilt flathead in it, running. 49 Diamond T pickup, no bed, 47 Ford coupe, nailhead, 322, original trans and rear, 63 buick special aluminum v8 running, 66 ford F100, and a few other complete cars. The engines in the cars in the rows are all iffy, they have been setting too long.

Shawn, Everybody!, Come on up! We Really need to raid this place before it's all over. I was gettin ready to leave when a semi pulled in and picked up a Pair of 57 Cadillacs for $300 to take to Wisc. Guess that Butch would rather see the stuff get used than crushed. Those Caddys, a coupe and a sedan, were worth more for their Weight as S****!
