Just got Wife a daily driver 56 customline. 3 deuces and Tuck and Roll. Got rid of her 04 Silverado to buy it and so far she doesn't miss it one bit.

Easy on the dice. They tied them on and haven't got around to cutting them off yet.

Chrome garnish mouldings, nice! Slam it, and apply some wide whites, and have your wife rolling in even more style! Nice looking car.

My 14 month old grandgirl seems to have gotten attached to the dice. She likes to take a swing at 'em when she's waiting on granna to install the car seat in back. Don't know if it's because she likes 'em or hates 'em as she can't talk. Kinda seeing which it is.

Nice car, I wouldn't change anything, except maybe the tires and wheels. Don't know why but for some reason they look on the small side. Are the wheels 14"?

Yea they're 14". Gonna go back to 15" when the tires wear out. It drives great with them and they're brand new.

Damn that is one sweet 56 ! That is a true cl***ic Hotrod and looks to be built that way they use to be back in the 50's & 60's . I love the cl***ic look from the roll n tuck right down to the chrome wheels with moons ! I see those 3 deuces tucked up under the hood and the 3 on the tree is still my favorite over the stick shift conversion to the floor !
That sure must have put a huge smile on your wifes face when she got that 56 !
    I am jealous ! :(

Congrats on your new addition ! :D

Customline Vicky, are you referring to the scuff plates. They are available at most parts houses that specialize in Ford parts, Mac's, Carpenter, Tee-Bird's, etc.

Those scuff plates are PRICEY! For a '53 they are $100 a piece. At least that's the best price I have found so far (and I would need to replace 4 of them-OUCH!)
