Not to derail the thread, but painted or otherwise, they look good! Fooled me anyway. The bad thing about paint is that it cracks and fades and does all sorts of fun stuff, atleast thats what my dad was saying about the stuff back in the day. Still looks sharp though!

I got the spring out this last weekend. So I can now take out the arms and start the rebuild on them.

Thanks for the write-up! I just ordered mine tonight from Amazon for $56.30 FREE shipping! Need to install them then measure the drop so I know what size blocks for the back ... will post pics of the process.

Glad to see you guys are benefitting from my walk-through... I'm just about ready to drop in the motor and trans, maybe even this weekend...so then that front end will REALLY come down...

I'll get some pics of that after they're in and post them as well.

Well ... I followed the write-up and took some pictures along the way. Pics are in the group album with a description ... Enjoy! I got 2" drop right off the bat and figuring another 1/2" or so as they settle in. Ordering the 3" blocks tonight to level her out or slight tail drop which I'd prefer anyway.

I must say Scott, your car looks so clean and sharp. Easy on the eyes makes it a standout!

There is a place here in So Cal that has those parts, called C&G Early Fords. Also you might want to check with MAC's and Dennis Carpenter, but I'm not sure if they will gave what you're looking for. I will try and get my C&G catalog back on Friday and get the part number for you.

You can also find the coil spring isolators / spreaders at local auto parts stores for around $20. Bill, Spring, TX
