Knowing that many of you are interested in suspension and brake mods I have rounded up a soon to be new member.Dave Gulley recently became the new owner of Drop-N-Stop since He just joined up at 1954Ford.com I sent him and email and invited him here to the HAMB and our group here. Please give him a big members welcome to the group,His experience should be a great ***et to many of you. Dave is AKA nascardave here in the group.
Dave is a great guy, as I have mentioned in other posts, thats where I got my spindles and a lot of great information. He will be a great ***et to the group.
Cool, they are on my short list for getting disk brakes on the front of my '55. Now, if he'd just rename it, drop stop n steer, and offer a good power steering conversion.
hope the 53 will be in there some where. I running cut springs, but would love to go to a droped spindle if they make one.
I must admit Jeff, you have certainly enriched this group by the people you have recruited. I thought I was 'dialed in' before I got on here, but I have learned many things by this group. Thanks...
Lanny Haas, you can't put dropped spindles on you 53 cuz it has king pins. Ford started using ball joints in 54.
Excellent! thinking about putting a new dual master cylinder to replace my single/orignal one, just to be extra safe. Will need more advice on that soon!
Lanny, get on the Aerostar bandwagon! Did mine this week (with serious help from HAMBer PBRmeASAP ((Jeff)). Check my new pix in the Aerostar spring thread that ctfortner started.
53Vicky when you get ready to do the dual master swap send me a pm I saved some part numbers to make it EZ for Ya.
jeff is the man with the master plan! he always pulls through with great info! will do on the welcoming committee!
