1952-59 Ford Custom Taillight lenses

    I fabricated some taillight lenses for my 53 Ford over the weekend. I machined out the centers of some standard 53 Ford Lenses and fitted some lenses from a 60 Chevrolet Impala.

    looks good , i think custom lenses realy set cars apart from one another when parked near each other . some people stop and stare trying to figure out what the diffrence is .

    Lots of trial and error, but finally ended up with 75% Hot Rod Flatz Urethane "Satin", 25% Hot Rod Flatz Urethane "Flat", and no reducer. Bill, Spring, TX

    Have you been spying on me?! I just did that with tail lights from my 61! Haha.

    I don't have mine finished yet but I think I'm going to epoxy mine in to try to make them look as finished as possible though.
