Well not exactly a roller but it is out of the jig and standing on mostly its own power. Been working kinda hard the last week and got the frame finished boxed back to the rear crossmember, c-notched the rear, welded out all the rearend brackets for the ladder bars, spring hangers, etc. Man I am glad the majority of the grinding is over. Anyhow looks like got to figure out whether I am going SBC of Nailhead so I can start setting up the motor mounts, tranny mounts, and center crossmember. Let the Fun Begin!! Did you set that jig up for stock 32 Rails measurements? I'm asking about the width of the frame all the way down.... or did you pinch the rails?
Elrod, Yes i set it up for the pinch at the cowl. Jig will accept both though. TxRat, The Dirty's are currently accepting applications for members. Ha Ha You can hang with us anytime
You welding fool Where were you when I needed a frame for my coupe? Great job keep the pic's coming. Oh also bad ass red wheels
Wow, everything looks great. I am trying to set up my rearend in my 34 frame. I had a couple of questions? What rear spring are you using (width)? Maybe a dum question but, how did you set up the rearend for pinion angle? I see you can adjust it but what are you starting at for a base line? CBB
Ha HA I sometimes feel like it. I have always said that I will catch up on my sleeping when I die. Thanks everyone for the kinds words. Keeps me motivated to drive on with it.
