Anyone have any photos of a Shoebox Ford w/ Carson Top?

I know Winfield makes 'em out of fibergl***. Anyone seen one set up like this or have any photos?

    Thanks in advance for sharing.

In all due respect, Tex Smith is the only authority I've ever seen that lumped 1952-1954 Fords in with the "Shoeboxes".

They're called "Shoeboxes" because they're the first popular cars that were slab-sided, no more "fat fenders" sticking out of the body.
Okay, okay, you MIGHT be able to get away with calling the 1955-1957 Chevys "shoe-boxes", since that was when Chevy finally shed the bulbous rear fender, but if you just said "Shoebox" without a manufacturer, you gotta mean 1949-1951 Fords.

Here's everything I could find on all Shoeboxe customs, courtesy of the Rikster:

I have a 50 with a Carson. I do not have a picture I can post yet, but if you still want I will.

I also own a Winfield fibergl*** one. It has an additional peice so it will work on 53 and 54 as well. I can get pictures of it as well if interested still.

Chuck DeWitt's Barris built 50 Ford is the shoebox Ford that sets
the bar for what a chopped convertible should look like. The perfect profile!
