Anyone know anything about old Ducatis? I found a 1964 ducati thats what the tag says. It is missing the engine but everything else is there. How desireable are they? should I spend the time getting it? Thanks Shawn
the engine basicly makes a ducatti.. In my opinion its worth jack shit with out that old motor but its gotta be worth a few hundred for a bike scrapyard....
last year i sold a ducati 250cc single basket case on ebay for $665.00 BUT it had an engine/tranny,alloy rims, cafe racer gastank and seat, and a few extra gizmos.i probably got less than market value for it,because i wouldn't ship it,but not by much.how much is there? if it's a rolling frame with a good (not dented or rusted) gas tank and fenders you might get as much as $200 for it-george
My pal has a 250 scrambler, 71 I think. They're badass bikes, the one that comes to mind is the Diana? from about '64. Just remember that parts aren't exactly growing on trees. Chris
I restored a 1968 Ducati Monza a few years ago. The Monza is `ok` but the Diana and MKIII are the bikes to look for. The frames are pretty much the same though. Ive been messing with Ducs for quite a while, if you have any questions or need help finding parts, shoot me an e-mail.
