Does anyone have any close up photos of a hardtop Crestline with the driprails removed? I thought I had seen some photos on the main site photo albums, but now I cant find them.

A tudor can *work* shaved, a hardtop will look terrible IMO.

It's either that, or take the whole top off. I've got lots of rust in the roof.

The shaved drip rails works well on this car as the entire car is smoothed and shaved.
I agree.... I think it wouldn't work with the hardtop.

Removing the drip rails will not work on a hardtop. Yuck!

Replacing the top is not that big a deal...once you've got the windows out and all the stainless off. Just remember to measure TWICE, cut ONCE!

Well, I cut mine 4 times, and it's still too short. ;)

Okay, so you've got a problem then. How bad are the drip rails exactly? There is a way to cheat them if they aren't too terrible. It is a band-aid, but its easier then swapping tops.

I can pull about 40% of the rail off by hand, it's mostly held on by seam sealer. The rest would probably take a few bends before it snaped off.
