Yeah...it's on the "new" side...but what the hell...I sold the car about 6 months ago and they're sentimental pics...

 

Here's a couple I got out on the salt this year. Twin brothers from Northern Utah.

 

I dun me one of those burnouts one time.
i was just walking home from our Chess club all wound up from drinking mountain dew & playing chess & ran into Rose, second hand Rose shes called, shes very experienced ***ually, (she gets around alot) she said if i had a set of wheels she'd do things to me ive never even read about & were probably illegal.
so i walked over to my Aunts house that was close by & grabbed her car, the keys were in it. 61 pontiac with a 4 speed, we headed downtown it was cruise night & Rose wanted to go.
anyway she talks me into doing a burnout. she explained how to do it so i did. i put it in 1st gear, held it to the floor & slipped my foot off the clutch. i dont know what happened next! my head was in the backseat & i dont know if it was the crowd screaming or me? dont know how big the burnout was cause all the gears shot out the rearend & hit a police car, cracking the windshield, the car was somewhat rusty & the driveshaft shot through the floor, right between the bucket seats & dented the roof.
when we got out to push it home the right rear wheel fell off & the lugnuts 'i guess' were shootin at pedistrians on the sidewalk.
i was scared, we finally got the car back to my Aunt & her boyfriend came out mad as hell, he started the car up & it sounded like 2 hammers banging together (anyone know what that is?)
anyhow my Aunts boyfriend chased me all over the yard yelling about everything & how the tailshaft was even busted off the ******!?, i was running in a BiG circle yelling H.E.L.P. but he got ahold of me & worked me pretty good, he stretched my neck out & now im 2 inches taller! -- Rose split with some dude in a ford.------- it was a terrible night i dont wanna do nomore burnouts!

yeah=was the rulkes - I guess the line lock needs to be used once in a while- I put it in when I built the car
Nevertheless- it was still fun

 

that would be a bad *** poster.

Yeah, anyone still have that video? I made it. But its nowhere to be found on my computer. If you find a file called burnout.gif on your computer, you've found it.

I ****. How could I possibly lose that burnout?

Saturday nite, Aug 21, (I believe) 2004. I was getting ready to leave the parking lot of the HAMB Drags host hotel to head to JimC's home. Beatnick was behind me in his roadster. We were parked near the front entrance. Gus got in his roadster and I got in Big Olds, and I was egged on by a group of HAMB guys sitting to my left. I couldn't help myself, so........I proceeded to do a huge smokey burnout right there forgetting that Beatnick was behind me. As he's being engulfed in smoke he rolls his roadster backwards and comes outta the smoke with rubber stuck to his left arm. Priceless.
