A while back I asked if any of you that made a parts purchase to check with the vendor to see if they may want to offer a club discount, and nobody posted back.We now have hit another milestone in our group as we now have 350 members listed,I contacted USA Parts Supply and Cl***ic Auto Parts (aka Obsolete Ford) today by email today, so will p*** on any info I get.So guys and gals don't forget, give those vendors a nudge and p*** on the results here on the board.

Hey Jeff I checked the link above - google says it's no good.

Yes, I'd be interested in a couple of new design tees & a cap (they're a great sunblock for ol' baldy!) Still have the other tees and wear 'em quite a bit but new is good (except cars. . .)

Hmmm, looked but can't find the one you got of the '54... I wouldn't mind picking one up myself.

USA Auto Parts discontinued club discounts 15 years ago, said it became a mess to deal with the only discounts available are 5% over $400 purchase and an over $1,000 free shipping.Cl***ic Auto Parts also no club discount, but if you register with them you will get email flyers also mentioned a fall sale.

Jeff , the link works fine now . As for discounts and vendors I always check the ones on the main board and usually try to buy from then when ever I can . Usually when you get a vendor or place to give a discount for a club/group you usually need to make a group purchase at a large amount all at one time .
As for our group and being 350 strong , my question is , where is everyone at ? Seems like it is really a small group of us that are always here which is fine with me . I am a member on a few groups and they really **** ! They never have any discussion about anything and if I ask a question about something there is never a reply !
I have to say this is one of the best groups on the HAMB ! There is also another group I did join today that Jeff has been bugging me about so I joined today . I will check them out more but at least they are like us and have some positive action going on at a regular bases !
Always happy to help anyone out that can use some help .

    Jim

I check in everyday, but got alot going on so the work on projects has come to a halt for awhile. Oh and I think its awesome that the group is 350 strong, and I agree alot goes on here compared to the other groups I'm apart of.

I was able to use the site and I may have found the shirt with a 54 Ford but it kind of looks like a 52. Any ways the shirts look cool. Thanks for the site Jeff.

Some members have drifted away but pop up on the main board if you guys run across them give them a nudge and invite them back for a visit. With the economy in the shape it is some projects have gotten put on hold as a lot of folks are hurting these days. It's a shame that in our country they can shell out foreign aid but want to withhold unemployment checks to folks here at home that need it to get by.
