Hi everyone, I am new to the group. I have 2 '54 Customlines. One has a '74 Nova front suspension welded on.
Have a question about front fenders for my '54. I am looking for a front p***enter side fender and I have found a '53 fender for sale, but have read that there are some differences between '53 & '54. This article says that the fenders were 1/2" higher on the '54. Can someone confirm or deny this? Will a '53 work on a '54?...thanks

One difference is that the '54 fenders & headlight rings/buckets have a "peak" type of body line on the outer side of the car, and the 53's don't. The fenders can be reworked to go either way, but the headlight buckets are made of pot-metal and ya can't do much with those.

52,53,and 54 frontfenders are all different. The sheet metal around the parking lights of each are different and the headlight rings on the 54 won't fit without major rework.

Welcome to the club house! I just saw 54 fenders on EBAY the other day along with the hood and doors for a 2-door. Take a peek and see if they are still up for bids.

Just a hint guys,if you are looking for parts always post your location, with shipping costs as high as they are you are more likely to get directed to someone close to your area that can help out.

    Howdy from SC,
Are you just needing the bottoms fixed for rust or are you needing a whole fender? Bottoms are available through EMS Automotive.
