Has anyone put a 58-59 chevy short fleetside bed on a 60-66 shortbed truck? I have been looking for a 60-66 short fleetside but no luck. I have come across a 58/59 short fleetside. I have not seen it in person yet to see if the body lines will match up but from the pics it looks like it will. I also like how they have the tear drop running down the side. I know you can swap the stepsides, so that means the wheelbase is the same. I am just concerned about the body lines. Any info would be great, pics would be awsome. thanks

The body lines do not line up, it would look funny. Kind of like how Ford built trucks in the early 60s with the new body and old bed design.

That short 58-9 fleetside bed might be worth something....they're kind of hard to find.
