One of my buddies from Germany, AX (Alex), just sent me an email of his freshly-built 292 being fired for the first time. It's a stout street version with cam, tri-power, etc. backed by a Muncie 4-speed in a '40 Ford coupe. Thought you'se guys might like to experience about 45 seconds of the sight and sound of a great little traditional Ford street motor. Car isn't done yet, but should be on the street soon. Alex is gettin' antsy... Turn up the volume and enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmetuTfFZXY
He bought that from a guy named Arthur in Ca . It was build by a local machinist and the cam is from John Mummert . The car had a SBC in it and replaced it with the 292 . Alex had a friend in Ca. crate the 292 up for him and shipped to Germany . He is trying to get it done for a big drag show coming up soon ! I will hope to have a link from a friend to post of the drag race if the car get finished in enough time . Jim
