One of my buddies from Germany, AX (Alex), just sent me an email of his freshly-built 292 being fired for the first time. It's a stout street version with cam, tri-power, etc. backed by a Muncie 4-speed in a '40 Ford coupe.

Thought you'se guys might like to experience about 45 seconds of the sight and sound of a great little traditional Ford street motor. Car isn't done yet, but should be on the street soon. Alex is gettin' antsy...

Turn up the volume and enjoy!

He bought that from a guy named Arthur in Ca . It was build by a local machinist and the cam is from John Mummert . The car had a SBC in it and replaced it with the 292 . Alex had a friend in Ca. crate the 292 up for him and shipped to Germany . He is trying to get it done for a big drag show coming up soon ! I will hope to have a link from a friend to post of the drag race if the car get finished in enough time .
