    1000x better! any car up to '60 needs whitewalls imo. Looks great.:)

    I agree WWW are the best look for these type of cars. I have the same Olds caps on mine too

    Looks amazing! Removed the bumper guards too, eh? I've been considering that myself.

    Thanks guys. I was quite shocked when I mounted the first one up at the impact it made. I saw the Olds caps on an eBay car and thought they match the 53 well with the ridges and center bullet mimicking the bullet on the grille.

    As skoh73 pointed out, I also removed the bumper guards front & rear which cleaned the car up quite a bit too.

    I have to track down some fuel leaks and re-adjust the rocker lash and then I am hoping to fire it up today and take it for a spin.

    Rocker lash adjusted, new Waldren gl*** pack exhaust ... running pretty good minus a timing adjust to take advantage of the new dual carbs.

    Feels good to have it back on the road again!
