  4. What do they look like? Considered by many to be the ugly duckling of the fifties ford trucks, but I like them better that the mid-fifties that are so over done. The pic above is just one fine example of what they can become. Cheap? Go for it and post pics!

Please post pictures of your flipped axle. Any clearance problems with the frame/engine? I got a 57 that needs an altitude adjustment.

Here's one of the AZ so-cal truck. 6 cyl and a wicked set of pipes. Make the hair stand up on the back of your neck when he winds it out.

Do you have any more pictures of that truck? Do you know how it was lowered? Engine shots?

Long overlooked, the later 50's F100's are THE pickup of choice these days. I have had one for the last 12 months, I wouldn't be without it. IMHO the stepside sucks, gotta have a STYLESIDE.
here are a couple shots of my pup.
There are plenty of other pictures on CARNUT.COM
There trucks drive like shit if you lower them too much. Killer flipped his axle once but had to raise the motor and raise the steering box too to make it drive ok.
Mine was once lowered, but restored to stock height because it was lethal.

  14. Hey Mart, dig the pick up. I especially like the exhaust coming out under the taillights. What did you use for rings for it to come through? Buick ports? Or?

  15. Almost forgot. Here's one of my favorite Effies. Not sure of the exact year, '59 I'm guessing. I think this one has it in spades.............E

The mods to thje truck were done by Steve Carpenter in California. According to the note he sent me they are 50 Ford turn signal bezels. They're only for show, the real exhausts dump down underneath.
