i imagine that those dual headlights are kind of rare.

not every state approved them for '57,or so the story goes...

I've heard that as well, but I always believed the single headlight versions of any given '57 were rarer. Generally speaking, I prefer the single headlights over the quads, but this Lincoln carries it off well. Perhaps it's the color.

Nice car, congratulations. What are your plans? If it were mine, I'd be looking for a Navigator to strip out. Seems like you could have a comfy fifties cruiser and get good gas mileage to boot. Then you'd have a 368 left over for a hot rod too.

That ride screams 'creeper' but I'd go with lime green/teal seaweed flames all over. Nice score!

ps-Brandy-that'd be a pain in the ass to chop, wouldn't it?

It is a pretty sweet car, it was kind of a bitch to haul, being it was so heavy. Me and my buddy Kris who came along for the ride, joked about just turning around with the car loaded and coming back to Brillion, and say screw the rest of the trip. That thing really runs nice.

I've got some pics of our trip on Saturday and I'll post some up when I get them. Met up with JohnnyBondo on the way down and did some business with him, then got my '55 Dodge (which turned out to be a real creampuff, making my long and somewhat frustrating trip worth it 100%) and got back around 1am. The things we do for old cars.

That Lincoln is a damned cool car, and it sounded like it ran pretty sweet too. I personally would just put exhaust, tires, brakes and tuneup shit on it and drive it the way it sits, but whatever you do with it, I wanna see pictures.

Did you get the jack out from under the rearend?

man, 57 Lincolns are one of my favorite cars. Nice score. I can't wait to see it.

The gold one is Tom Culbertson's 56.

she needs body work and floors... but is solid framewise etc.... interior is all tehre and REAL cool... dont think it will clean up well though, LOL... too old... after body work shes gettin satin paint, flake top (maybe), wwws, nice caps, and a drop fro now, then gonna drive the hell outta her.... i think flamethrowers are in order though... ive never really seen one of these done up.... a couple mild ones, stock with a drop or conti kit, but never seen one with non stock paint, lowered, diff caps, stripped up... except for d'agustinos... LOL... and im not goin that far, LOL..i think she will be cool.. i know only thing that will get her from me is a hot rod... so i should own this one for a lil while atleast
