What is your addicition? Is it reeshaping metal into the ultimate custom? Is it making some jalopy into a fear inducing speed demon? or is it some other mechanical fasination??? is it musical?? If it none of the above , it must be chemical. some times it is more than one!!! I have found that I have always loved hotrods. I just need more. This summer I have found that customs do get me excited ( I love moving metal ) by helping on a fellow road burners' shoebox. I must say that I had more enjoyment from driving my untested and not legal coupe on a road trip for a couple hundred miles than I thought I would. I just dont enjoy endangering my family ( my wife went along with us) It was great !! My wife ( as we are entering the interstate after a three block drive) says "How fast have you takin this thing? I say " 30 or 40" . She says how fast are we going now?? I look at the other cars and say " 60 -70" AND HANG ON!!! Is there a subs***ute for speed or chemical addictions???
I think you are saying you are a speedfreak. subs***ute? lots of *** or death are the only fixes I know of! {and they inter-mingle sometimes}
SPEED!!! I went 122 mph in my 89 grand prix after I hit a light pole I'd call that a speed addiction! Yes I am a ***** for doing it but no one else was on the road at the time.
I have the same sick addiction since I was a kid.....I like to tear the household appliances apart. Problem was, sometimes I couldn't get them back together and would hide them under my bed. Talk about an allowance drain. I still like to tear things apart......and go fast......ask the Highway Patrol about that one or two, okay it was three.
Speed...went 150 in a '32 5 window Music....professional sax player gigging 5 to 7 nights a week Chrome...need i say more? Caffiene...Coca-Cola is my friend... Cigarrettes...2 packs a day...and happy about it...
Hot Rod, cars and people Helping Rodders, do rodding Building what i can, the grin you get when you get it done, how cool is that. Love open roads, bends and straights alike, roads which i dont know, getting to know them and beat them to death. Getting a car to handle as best we can, with the old technology. Beer is an addiction too, had to be off of it for a year for health reasons, but boy its back and cool it is too. Nice mellowing feeling, just contentment. Sorry im waffleing, ill go now. Tata Roland
Contributing to the delinquency of the neighborhood kids. Helping them build **** to get into trouble with. And their parents happy to see them at the house so much. They aren't to happy about the noise but what the Hell
1932 Fords....... Ever since I rode in one when I was in grade school........I wanted one. The man up the street had one ( 1957 or so ) ......and would give me a ride to school some mornings when it was real cold and I was waiting on the school bus. He was a Policeman and back then it was safe to ride with a neighbor .... His 32 coupe had a big OHV and a couple carbs.....it was loud, rough riding and I loved it.
At my age I'm pretty much addicted to being able to get dressed in the morning and do something (anything) before i collapse at the end of the day. Frank
So...don't ask Brandy about the "appliances" under her bed. Got it! Oh even better you need help with them...lol...Sorry you walked right into that one... Hmmm...my addiction has continually evolved in a rotating cycle since I was a kid. When I finally got my license it took me about 2 years to lose it because of speeding tickets...so what's that tell ya. Sorta p***ed that stage now though. Any more if it's got great lines it's ok by me...even if it doesn't scare the **** out of me goin' down the road. The need to alter has never left my system, I just alter to a different end now. Olson
Hey I walk into all sorts of ****. You think that's bad, the older the appliance the happier I am. Smartypants. **x
