Got my first copy of Wiss magizine today. At first before I opened it I was a little worried when I saw the size of it.It looks like the old 40 and 50 hot rod mags.(size).when I opened it up it blew me away.I order just about every car magazine they make.even the ****ty ones just hoping that I may see at least one car that I dig. There are more pics of bad *** rides in this little book than all the other mags I get, put together.I think that most of you guys would really like this magazine. It's what most of us are into.If you don't get it ,you should.A big thumbs up

WIZZZ magazine kicks ***. i got the first one when it came out and can't wait for the next one each time. they let the pictures do the talking! plus i get to see a lot of midwest cars i don't get to see in other mags that cover mostly coasts.

I don't really like that mag. Too much bad hippie Photoshop .

  8. From what I understand, the guy is less than honest about paying artists for the art he has used in the past. I know Unkl Ian and a couple of others have had more direct dealings with him. I won't be buying any more mags by him...I bought the first issue before I knew the "score".

There are about 53 photos of the HAMB Drags in Vol 2 No.1 that I just picked up yesterday. Pretty cool little Mag!

  11. Great midwestern Magazine! Lots of pics......good **** too!

  12. Someone should post those drags pics so we dont have to give Wiss any coin. Kinda payback for the charity money he took.

Just subscribed last week and got the mag a couple days later. Lots of cars from the HAMB drags. The whole thing is basically photos on a budget but pretty cool.

I ordered 2 copies from "Nightprowlers" this morning. I had been told that my picture was in the HAMB Drags article. I figured that makes that issue valuable and a collector item someday. People will probably be wanting my autograph (mostly on checks to pay my bills). Little children will gaze at me and point(they already do this). Actually, I just wanted to see this magazine myself, and I bought a copy for my brother.

    Hi
I am fairly new around here, I don't post or read all that often, but I have a question about this guy.

He doesn't have a mailing address, uses a p.o. box, he uses paypal to accept money, he never uses his real name, no one knows what city he really lives in, a reverse lookup on his only contact phone number is called G and G affordable TV!

I really think he is probably flying under the tax radar. He claims to be a screen printer, and what else?

Do we really know his name? Someone thought it was Greg Stokesbury? How many names does he have?

    Interesting thread..
We just heard from him about a small feature in the next issue.....he also sent the entire back issue output.
We discussed his side of the fence on an unhappy artist situation that happened, and many other topics.....
He has offered us coverage and business, and that is something that we certainly could use....
Just my take on the situation so far....but please do continue to post any red flags,we don't get out much, and need more background from people with varying experiences.....

does anyone one know when these are sent out?every month ,every 2 months?got my first one on Nov 1 but nothing else so far.

  18. Its published quarterly...January, April, July and October.
I try to have it slapped together for him, so he can ship it the first part of each quarter .
I've only know him about 2 years, but he's alway paid me for the work I've done and he has stressed the point of giving credit where credit is due.
Hope this helps and thanks for the positive feedback...
