Antique Hand Held English wheel??

    I got this on our junkyard tour this weekend. I'm guessing it's an old hand held english wheel. I doubt it's worth using but I thought it was cool.

    I believe these were used to smooth wrinkles in fenders without having to take them off the car. Looks like a cool old tool !

    They were known as fender rollers.
    More for smoothing creases than shaping panels.
    Some are valued by collectors.

    You find the coolest shit. I go to the yards and I can't even find the stuff I need for late model stuff.

    Tucker if you want to feel bad check out the junkyard tours post. We are just lucky to have a couple of real cool old yards around here.
